From Perth take the Kwinana South through to Mandurah and onto Bunbury. At the Bunbury roundabout, turn left and follow the signs to Manjimup. Once on the South-West highway you will pass through Boyanup, Donnybrook and Balingup before arriving in Bridgetown. Travelling from Perth, drive south from Bunbury on the South Western Highway. Once you have reached Balingup and inside the 60km zone, you will pass the Recreation Centre on your left, and then pass over a bridge across the Balingup Brook. Immediately past the bridge there is a crossroads with the General store and Service Station on your right. Turn left here into Jayes Road. Travel up Jayes Road for approx 300m, passing the Town Hall on your right. Take the first turn left into Walter Street and go back over the Balingup Brook on a one-lane bridge. Immediately over this bridge, turn right into Brook Street (gravel road). Follow Brook Street to the very end and the street will run directly into our driveway. A sign above the right hand gate post says “Chestnut Brook”.
If you are arriving from other directions eg. from Bridgetown or Nannup, drive through Balingup until you reach the General Store (on your left). At the crossroads here, turn right into Jayes Road and proceed as above.
After leaving the Bridgetown Tourist Centre - continue South along Hampton Street for approximately 100 mtrs and turn left at the Freemasons Hotel. Continue up Steere St. for approximately 1 km, turn left into Gifford Road just after passing Recreation Centre on the Corner. Proceed along Gifford Road for approximately 7.5km and turn left into KENDALL ROAD. (Next to Two Cement Water Tanks - The sign may be missing)Proceed a further 2.3 km to YOVANCHE ROAD. This road is a gravel road and proceeds off to the right at 45 degrees. Road Number signs (emergency services signs are set at both ends of Yovanche Road - [248] ) Travel approximately 100mtrs, (note: you will see three old mailboxes and a bus shelter on the left) and another YOVANCHE ROAD Sign - at this point turn right, proceed down for another 100 mtrs, you have now arrived at our location - you will see our sign - REDTAIL RIDGE with our logo - a characture of a Redtail Black Cockatoo on the left.
